How this site uses cookies. (It mostly doesn't.)

Short version: this site does not set any cookies, does not run analytics, and does not run advertising or tracking scripts of any kind. Because of that, there's nothing here that UK cookie law (PECR) requires us to ask your permission for.

What this site sets

Nothing. No analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no preference cookies, and no browser local storage used to identify or track you. If you fill in the audit form, what you typed is passed to the form service named in our privacy policy, which forwards it to us by email. It isn't stored in your browser and it doesn't put a cookie on this site.

The one third party involved

This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). That means your browser makes a direct request to Google's servers to fetch the font files, which, like any web request, can expose your IP address to Google as part of normal server logging. Google's font-serving service does not set a cookie or use this to track you across the web. If you'd rather we didn't make that request at all, tell us and we'll switch to fonts hosted directly on our own server.

If that ever changes

If we add analytics, a marketing pixel, or any other tracking tool in future, we'll update this page and ask for your consent with a proper cookie banner before anything runs, not after.

Controlling cookies generally

Even though this site doesn't need it, every browser lets you view, block, or delete cookies from any site you visit, usually under Settings → Privacy. Blocking all cookies everywhere can break other sites you use, but it won't break anything here.
