Terms

The terms for working with Keel.

This page covers using the Keel website and hiring Keel to build and run an agent. It is written in plain English on purpose. For the money side alone, see the refund policy; for how we handle your data, see the privacy policy.

Who you're contracting with

Keel is the trading name of Yousef Abuljadayl, a sole trader based in Manchester, United Kingdom (M15 4SB). You can reach us at abuljadayly@gmail.com or +44 7717 733974.

Using the website

The site is here to explain what Keel does and to let you request a workflow audit. You can browse it and use the form freely. Don't try to break it, scrape it at scale, or use it to send us anything unlawful, and don't misrepresent who you are when you get in touch.

What we offer

Nothing on the website is a binding quote. A quote only becomes binding once we've confirmed scope and price with you directly and you've accepted it.

Payment

Fixed-fee work is invoiced as agreed at the time of quoting (typically on kickoff and on delivery). Standing keel is billed monthly in advance. Invoices are due within 14 days unless we've agreed otherwise in writing. Late payment may pause active work until the account is settled.

Cancellations and refunds

The short version: the audit is free so there's nothing to refund; the fixed-fee build is non-refundable once work has started; the monthly plan is cancel-anytime with no partial refund for time already paid for. The full detail, including what counts as "started" and what happens if we fail to deliver, is in the refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

What belongs to whom

Once a fixed-fee project is paid in full, the workflow map and the specific agent configuration we build for you are yours to keep and use, whether or not you continue with Keel afterwards. Keel keeps ownership of its own general tools, templates, and reusable components that sit behind the scenes. You're not buying those, just the result built with them for you.

Your data and confidentiality

How we handle information you give us, and the data any agent touches once it's running, is covered in the privacy policy. Before any working access is granted, we sign whatever confidentiality or data processing paperwork you reasonably need.

If something goes wrong

We'll do our best to deliver what we scope, on the timeline we agree. If we get something wrong, tell us and we'll put it right. Our liability to you for any claim arising from this work is limited to the fees you've paid us for the specific engagement in question, except where the law does not allow that limit. For example, we never limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, arising from the work, to the extent the law allows us to exclude that.

Ending the arrangement

You can cancel the Standing keel plan at any time; it stops at the end of the billing period you're in. Either of us can end a fixed-fee engagement early by agreement, in which case you pay for the work already done and any refund is handled per the refund policy.

Changes to these terms

If we update these terms in a way that materially affects an active engagement, we'll tell you directly rather than just editing the page quietly.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
